Artificial City is a South Korean television series directed by Jeon Chang-geun and starring Soo Ae, Kim Mi-sook, Kim Kang-woo and Lee Hak-joo. The project’s working title was Miracle in Cell No.7 2 . It aired on cable channel tvN from July 14 to October 4, 2013 on Mondays and Tuesdays at 23:00 for 20 episodes. Artificial intelligence engineer Han Se-gye finds himself living in artificial cities after he’s sentenced to life imprisonment for murder. He attempts an escape using his knowledge of artificial intelligence systems and is pursued by his former colleagues—psychiatrist Park Jung-ah, programmer Cha Do-ha, roboticist Yoon Jin-seong and computer expert Moon Yeon-jae.

Artificial City kdrama
The cast was amazing and they were able to do an excellent job with bringing to life these characters. So many different sides of society were touched upon in just one drama, giving an overall great experience. I recommend watching it for those who have time for a shorter series and just want something that can be completed within a few weeks instead of dragging on for months on end. Artificial city started off in a good direction and kept that pace throughout. This is what makes it stand out from most dramas out there, not too serious but not overly comedic either (I’m looking at you Goblin). A wonderful watch if you have a night or two that you don’t mind being taken away from your personal life for a bit! [3/5]
What Is Artificial City About?
Artificial City is about a police chief who, after her first major case goes horribly wrong, is forced to work with an amnesiac to solve cold cases. It’s an interesting premise, but from there it suffers from being overly procedural in nature and not enough time spent on character development. As such, while we think Artificial City is okay overall, it’s hard to recommend without reservations. If you like procedurals or you’re just looking for a good mystery drama, however, it might be worth checking out when you have time. (Don't forget to check out our review of Coffee Prince as well)
Would I Watch Artificial City Again?
Artificial City is a 2012 South Korean television series. It stars Soo Ae, Kim Mi-sook, Kim Kang-woo and Lee Hak-joo. I have no plans on watching it again unless it was my favorite show of all time, but that's probably not going to happen any time soon. In fact, I have no plan of watching any South Korean Dramas anytime soon because they're usually quite boring and unoriginal. Artificial City might be an exception since it seems to be based off of Sherlock Holmes with some murder mystery thrown in.

Artificial City is a story about two families and each episode focuses on how they cope with different situations. It's primarily about family, both real and surrogate, as well as professional relationships. Artificial City is a drama that will keep you entertained from beginning to end. This highly-anticipated series has finally been released and it did not disappoint in terms of quality or entertainment value. Written by director Jeon Chang-geun and starring Soo Ae (Dae Jang Geum), Kim Mi-sook (Empress Ki) and Lee Hak-joo (Jackpot), Artificial Flower doesn't just shed light on our society but also challenges us to evaluate whether we are living for ourselves or for others.
